Here is a short description on each player attribute. Please remember that other factors may impact players stats such as tiredness, shape, defender, height, pressure from the crowd...

Offensive Attributes

  • 3pts Shooting: Player's ability to shoot 3-pointers efficiently.
  • 2pts Shooting: Player's ability to shoot mid-range shots (outside the paint) efficiently.
  • Inside Shooting: Player's ability to shoot inside the paint efficiently.
  • Drive: Player's ability to finish layups and drives efficiently.
  • Free Throws: Player's efficiency in shooting free throws.
  • Dribble: Player's ability to dribble under pressure, the higher the attribute the less likely the player is to lose the ball whilst dribbling, for example.
  • Pass: Player's ability to pass the ball to teammates without losing possession. It also increases the ability to make good passes, resulting in better shots for teammates (and assists).
  • Shoot creation: Player's ability to create their own shot in difficult situations


Defensive Attributes

  • Frontcourt defense: The player's ability to defend and contest shots inside the perimeter. Higher skill makes it tougher for opponents to score and reduces the risk of fouling.
  • Backcourt defense: The player's ability to defend and contest shots outside the perimeter. Higher skill makes it tougher for opponents to score and reduces the risk of fouling.
  • Steal: The player's ability to steal the ball from opponents while defending.
  • Offensive rebound: The player's ability to secure offensive rebounds.
  • Defensive rebound: The player's ability to secure defensive rebounds.
  • Block: The player's ability to block opponents' shots.


Physical Attributes

  • Speed: The player's maximum running speed.
  • Stamina: The player's ability to perform for extended periods without getting tired.
  • Jump: The player's ability to jump high.
  • Power: The player's strength in duels, especially useful for inside players or those driving frequently.
  • Acceleration: The player's ability to quickly reach their top speed.
  • Explosiveness: The player's quickness in their first steps, useful for getting past defenders.


Mental Attributes

  • Collective: How altruistic a player is and how likely they are to make assists.
  • Self control: The player's ability to stay calm and recover mentally from tough periods during games.
  • Positioning: The player's ability to be in the right position during games, especially on defense (e.g., for rebounds and blocks).
  • Influence: Higher influence allows the player to impact plays more significantly. Influential players can take more shots without upsetting teammates and are more likely to become key scorers.
  • Consistency: The player's performance regularity over multiple games and their ability to recover from bad streaks quickly.
  • Experience: Experience helps players avoid fouls and turnovers, make difficult shots, and perform better in crucial games (e.g., playoffs, finals, or relegation battles).
